Forum: Dr. Larry Eastland

Thursday, February 03
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Heber J. Grant Building Room 275

Dr. Larry Eastland, former staff assistant to the United States President, U.S. Delegate to the World Trade Organization, and combat-decorated Vietnam Firebase Commander, will speak on "Faith, Family, and Religious Freedom in the Public Sector."

He will draw on personal experiences and accomplishments, such as the rescinding of the Mormon Extermination Order and efforts as an interfaith advocate in Los Angeles, to educate students on what they can do in their own lives to uphold faith and religious freedom in their "decade of decision."

All BYU–Hawaii students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
