A portrait of Brian Lesser.

Entrepreneurship Lecture Series: Brian Lesser

Thursday, January 20
11:00 AM - 11:50 AM

Brian’s unique and hands-on approach to philanthropy has inspired his employees and partners to create dramatic changes in their own lives and communities. He now spends the majority of his time invested in helping to inspire and fund business leaders and provide educational opportunities in the developing world. African nations have been a primary focus thus far, but opportunities have arisen to get involved in other parts of the world. Most of the businesses are organized and launched by people in economies that struggle to provide jobs and individuals must create their own path. One young man graduated from school with a law degree but couldn’t find employment. Brian helped Jean Jacques Kongo Kongo build a cart renting business that now produces thousands monthly in revenue and enough income to support his large extended family and a growing base of young “street kids” in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
