Rooted Garden Therapy

Wednesday, September 25
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Lanihuli Gardens

This event will be held at the Kumawaiwai Center for Sustainability

A unique group designed specifically for students seeking to enhance their emotional well-being in a nurturing garden setting. This program provides a tranquil space where you can connect with nature and others while exploring key principles that promote personal growth and healing: cultivation, reconnection, transformation, and engagement. The garden is more than just a beautiful backdrop; it serves as a powerful metaphor for growth and healing. Being in nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and foster a sense of peace. In this serene environment, participants can experience the therapeutic benefits of gardening while engaging in meaningful discussions about emotional wellness.
