Presidential Parade

All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend following the Inauguration Ceremony. Participants are encouraged to join their department, office staff, or roommates and celebrate the official installment of President Kauwe.

Please contact Terry Moeai, senior manager of Student Leadership & Service, if your club or group is interested in participating in the parade.

Parade Route

The parade will start on the Academic Oval right outside of the Cannon Activities Center heading toward the Lorenzo Snow Administration Building. The parade will turn right onto the road between the Lorenzo Snow Administration Building and the Main Parking Lot and right again onto Napela Drive. It will then turn right, after the Seasider Turf Field onto Mikionele Way, right after Hale 1, and left onto the Academic Oval passing the Health Center. The parade will follow the Academic Oval around to the front of campus and turn right at the Flag Circle. The parade will pause for a short time at the McKay Foyer mural. It will then proceed on the rest of the Flag Circle, turn right back to the Academic Oval, and end in front of the Main Parking Lot.
