Dr. Matthew Bowen will be this year’s David O. McKay lecturer at Brigham Young University–Hawaii, presenting his talk, “Let Zion in Her Beauty Rise." A panel discussion with Dr. Bowen will follow from 3–4 PM in the Ballroom, where light refreshments will be provided.
The David O. McKay lecture series, sponsored by the Faculty Advisory Council, is one of the highest honors bestowed upon faculty at BYUH, giving distinguished professors the opportunity to share insights from their academic fields along with reflections on the gospel. Nominated by fellow faculty members and approved by the Board of Trustees, the title of David O. McKay lecturer recognizes exceptional scholarship and faith.
